     ChinaStudies is now offering a comprehensive Tui Na Massage training program. The new training program combines our Level 1 Tui Na training curriculum as well as the new Level 2 advanced Tui Na curriculum. Train personally with the Tui Na Masters at the Beijing Massage Hospital.

      ChinaStudies Acupressure & Tui Na Instructor Virginia Woods RN, CMT, NMT will guide you throughout the entire training program. Virginia has a  thirty-seven year practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupressure as a practitioner and as an instructor. She has traveled every year to China since 2000 to enhance her practice with Tui Na at the Beijing Massage Hospital. She has expanded her training in 2001 with the ChinaStudies Feng Shui Practitioners Course in the USA and the ChinaStudies Feng Shui Immersion Program in China.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Upon arrival, Beijing International Airport, self-transfer to the
           XiXi You Yi Hotel (4 Star-14 Nights).

Day 2: Morning orientation with Instructor / guide Ginny Woods.
           Free afternoon in Beijing.

Days 3-7:
           Beijing Massage Hospital Tui Na Training, Level 1. Morning
           classes* and afternoon rounds with the Tui Na Doctors for
           observation.

Days 8-9:
           Free weekend in Beijing!

Days 10-14:
           Beijing Massage Hospital Tui Na Training, Level 2. Morning
           classes* and afternoon rounds with the Tui Na Doctors for
           observation.

Day 15:
         Self-transfer to Beijing International Airport for departure flight.

*Please contact ChinaStudies for information regarding the specific subjects covered during the Tui Na training classes.

The Tui Na Massage and Acupressure Training program includes; daily breakfast, tips, certification, lectures, tuitions, classes, and deluxe hotel accommodations. Rooms are based on double occupancy. If you do not have a roommate or prefer a single room, a single supplement must be purchased.

Tour does not include international airfare and airport transfers.
Lunches and dinners will be self purchased at restaurants nearby the Beijing Massage Hospital at a cost of approximately $5.00 -$10.00 per day.

Tui Na Studies, Level 1 & 2 from the Beijing Massage Hospital.

REGISTRATION:  
         Price is $3,300.00 US. 
         All tour prices are based on double occupancy. If you do not have a roommate or prefer a single room, a single supplement must be purchased. The single supplement for this itinerary is an additional $980.00 US.
         A $297.00 US (non-refundable) deposit is required for registration. The remainder will be due at 45 days before departure. Since this is a strictly limited tour, early registration is advised. Tour may be tax deductible - check with your accountant.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
         All hotels are double occupancy unless single supplement is purchased.  Daily breakfast is provided during Tui Na Massage Hospital Program (expect to spend $5-$10/day total for lunch and dinner).

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
         All tour participants must hold a valid passport whose expiration is at least six months after the end of the tour. All passport applications, fees and visa to China are the responsibility of the tour participant.

INSURANCE:
         We strongly recommend a trip cancellation, accident and baggage insurance policy. Click below for best rates.

CERTIFICATION: 
         Upon completion, all participants will receive a Beijing Massage Hospital Certificate in Tui Na and a certificate of Completion of 60 hours of Tui Na and Acupressure from Virginia Woods*.

*60 hours of Continuing Education Credits will be awarded as recognized by the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). 

*Also for nurses, Virginia Woods is recognized by the California Board of Registered Nursing as a "Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP13658, for 60 contact hours". Check with your state board for reciprocal credit.
